Cheshire moon in the sky tonight;
I see a smile that gets me high,
I see no rain,
in the shadow of its light.
Cheshire moon in the sky tonight;
Wily, as he plays;
Anesthetizing my mind,
with its lurid, insidious gaze.
Cheshire moon in the sky tonight,
crazy as can be;
Insanity in the air above,
malicious eerie glee.
Cheshire moon in the sky tonight,
fading in and out;
Teasing and playing with shards of glass,
these stars which gleam and sprout.
Cheshire moon in the sky tonight,
cold and dark and pleasant;
Silent hum in the waves of light,
goose bumps for kings and peasants.
Cheshire moon in the sky tonight,
singing above my grave –
“Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe.
All mimsy were the borogoves
And the mome raths outgrabe.”

I will admit it, I am a huge sucker for poetry to Moon and this one was even cheshire! I loved the second stanza, the repetition made it sound to me like it is actually lyrics to some blues song.
