I wonder

Wonder what the trees dream,
while they sleep silent and still.
Wonder who the seas meet,
when they meet the foot of the hills.
Wonder what the wolf says,
when he howls at a scarred dead moon.
Wonder how the moon feels,
watching this silent young fool.
Wonder how the music feels,
when I turn the volume down.
Wonder how the smile feels,
when the lips break into a frown.

I sit here tonight,
alone in my room,
watching the trees,
the hills and the moon,
listening for howls,
and searching for wolves,
I sit here alone;
Wondering.
