I brought you Gerberas,
when you felt sick;
Lilies to give you strength,
they seemed to heal you quick.
Orchids for your celebrations,
wild as they may be;
Roses for when I loved you,
Merlot, Mauve and Teal.
Jasmines, you were so special,
beautiful and un-scarred;
Sunflowers to keep you company,
you were brighter than the stars.
and I’m back here tonight,
standing by your grave;
Look what I have gotten you.
Chrysanthemums and Irises and Roses you always craved.
Rest in Pieces, Oh! heart of stone.
In your Yellow, Blue, Black-and-White tomb.
