Tonight,
the light from the moon,
glides gently,
just above the surface of this river,
careful not to break her calm;
It soothes all who lay eyes upon her shimmering silken shores;
Tonight,
the waning moon,
gently climbs,
just over the horizon,
careful not to break the silence;
She calms all who hear her songs of solitude;
Tonight,
lustrous stars,
gently dance,
just beyond the edge of the land,
careful not to disturb the stillness of the night;
They give peace to all whose hearts writhe with turmoil;
Tonight,
my mind,
drifts gently,
just beyond the prism of my sanity,
careful not to fall in love;
It gives me courage that I may keep walking and one day;
“Find myself before the estuary”
