A foggy morning lull
scattered rays of light scurry about
my vapour breath entertains me
a silent dawn shouts;
A car drives by the block
cautious in her step,
a horn leaks through the silence
with the fog it had crept;
A hustle begins for work
I try to find my way,
so do a thousand others around me.
I hadn’t noticed anybody else.
Absorbed I was in the fog
My misty-vapour breath,
lost I was in my self.
I couldn’t see for miles.
Self-absorbed prick.
