It’s OK

It’s natural to miss the warmth,
when it gets cold;

To wish for a cool breeze,
in the summer heat;

To feel low when you’re hurt,
and elated when success comes your way;

It is OK to get angry once in a while,
just like it is to apologize when you make a mistake;

It’s OK to be crazy,
and just as well to be square.

It’s fine to be broken.
Give yourself a chance to be put back together.

We’re all just learning to sort ourselves out.
Learning to be better people,
for the world,
for ourselves,
for our families,
our friends,
And even for those who don’t even know us
and may never.

It’s OK.

It is perfectly OK to be yourself.
